      9. CHARLOTTE BEACH, born 28 November, 1787 in Connecticut. She was the daughter of 18. SAMUEL BEACH and 19. DEZIAH CASE.

Notes for LEVI PINNEY:
      One of the first to arrive, with Rev. James Kilbourne, to lay out the land for the Scioto Co. (See Abner P. Pinney.) One of the original subscribers of stock for Worthington College in 1821 (Shedding Light on Worthington, p. 35.) One of the founders of the Stanberry Library in 1803. (Shedding, p. 47)

      Stiles lists Betsey Hill as spouse of this Levi, with children Levi & Betsey. Betsey Hill was probably the wife of the Levi Pinney, b. 9 July, 1785 (Levi, Abm., Nath'l, Nath'l, Humphrey) as a dau., Maria, was born in Lake County, OH to Levi Pinney & Betsey Hill.

      10. HENRY ROGERS, born 25 December, 1752 in Monmouth County, New Jersey24; died 17 July, 1840 in Cincinnati, Hamilton, Ohio25. He was the son of 20. NATHANIEL ROGERS and 21. JEMIMA ???. He married 11. PHOEBE BURNETT 178725.

Notes for HENRY ROGERS:
      Henry served as a private in Lord Sterling's Regiment, commanded by Capt. Morris, in 1775 and Col. William Winds New Jersey Continental Line for one year until autumn of 1776 when he was discharged at Albany, New York. His pension application dated September, 1826, states that he was a weaver by occupation; that he has no wife living; and that he has eight children, all grown. He also appears on the 1826 Hamilton County pension roll (SAR #39483) He is mentioned in Ford's History of Hamilton County, Ohio on p 371.
