| I'm searching the JOHN BOWER family of Ross County, Ohio. John came to Ohio @ 1832 from Burg, Germany - died in Ross County @ 1840. One daughter, ANNA M. BOWER married JOHN ORTMAN. Another daughter, CATHERINE BOWER married JOHN PYLE. One son, JOHN GOTTLOB BOWER moved to Chanute, Kansas @ 1871. In addition, I'm also search the family of a WILLIAM GARRETT, born Dec. 24, 1752 Essex County, Virginia - m. 1st. ElIZABETH TAYLOR and married (2) CLARA FLAVER. One of their son's, REUBEN GARRETT - b. 1784, Virginia - d. 1857, Ross County, Ohio - m. SARAH TOOMBS in Caroline County, Virginia. Another son of William's, was RICHARD HENRY GARRETT on who's farm John W. Booth was shot and killed. Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information I have. |
