"The Bristol Family Home Page"

We are researching the Russell Bristol Family, who originally came from Michigan. They moved through Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, and California.
Russell maried Julia Cathren Sweet in Grand Isle, Nebraska, in 1864. Russell was from Schoolcraft, Kalamazoo County, Michigan. Julia's background is unknown.

The family moved west to Tulare, California, were they both passed and are buried.

We would appreciate any information on Russell and Julia's families, specifically Russell's father who may be, Roys H. or Royce Bristol, born June 11, 1815, in Schoolcraft, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, and died in Skunk River, Polk County, Iowa, he was married to Patience or Prudence Peck.

Other names in the Bristol family are: Blake, Bono, Crouch, Eckman, Mapes, McQuiston, Peck, Porter, Slocum, and Sweet.

We are also researching the Mulhisen (Muehleisen) Family, a German family from the areas of Bonfeld and Eningen, Germany, which include these names: Brustgi, Deck, Freudenberger, Hagner, Humel, Jaeger, Keck, Kilian, Koch, Kranzel, Kreisi, Oberbauer, and Wagner.
