Please forward this page to other family members or people you know who might be able to help. Thanks! Here is the information I have accumulated thus far for my family tree. It is a slow process, but it is an enjoyable one, and each new fact makes all the work worth it. This page will most likely be in a state of constant flux as I continually modify and update it. Furthermore, there may be mistakes found which I have already corrected in my home database but haven't replaced on the web site. As of now, you may view my personal Ancestry Tree and some selected genealogy reports from my uppermost ancestors. Make sure to read through the instructions on my InterneTree; you can view every single individual in my database with the use of right-clicking on your mouse! Obviously, as the reports merge through subsequent generations, they will begin to duplicate one another. If you have any questions or concerns with this information, or if you think you can add something to it, please send me an e-mail. Thanks for checking out my family tree. In the Navy -- Much Clearer Sailing (128 KB) Here is my great grandfather Herman George Behnke when he served in the German Navy aboard S.M.S. Carola, circa 1893. This version is a much better copy than the one I already had posted. Much of the grain that came from the other one's being a second generation copy is gone. Theodore Behnke and Auguste Wohlers (73 KB) This is a great shot; I'm so glad I found the high quality file. These are the parents of the navy brat Herman George. I don't have a date on this one, but simple deduction places it in the latter half of the 19th century. Theodore, Auguste, and Their Son (108 KB) Here is Theodore and Auguste again seen now a little older and photographed with their youngest son, Theodore (Herman George's younger brother). Navy Brat All Grown Up (91 KB) Here is Herman George a good fifteen years or so after the shot of him in the German navy with his new wife, Rosa Haas. I think it is funny how the two are posed in the same position as his parents were in the phot entitled "Theodore Behnke and Auguste Wohlers." Aunt Ida and Eileen (354 KB) Here we see "Ida" (Agatha B. Behnke) holding little Eileen (Greyson?). If anybody has approximate dates on these photos, please feel free to send them along. This Month's Contributor (161 KB) Here is Eileen with her husband Tom, sporting their patriotism. I wanted everyone to get a good look at this month's local celebrity. Herman Carl Behnke Looks Like Geoff (435 KB) Here is a shot of Herman at his graduation from Villanova University in 1943. There seems to be some frightneing physical similarities between his smiling face and my own. It is clear that my mother's line has some powerful physical trait genes. They all look the same! Aunt Ida Before She was Aunt Ida (296 KB) Here is Ida when she was just known as Agatha. This picture was taken in 1916.
