This Brimmer family settled in New York after coming across the Atlantic in a ship called "Hope" which landed in Philadelphia in 1738. We settled in the Petersburgh, New York area, the site of the "Brimmer Massacre". Some other family names directly associated with my family include the following: Aldrich, Bowles, Burke, Eldred, Harbour, Herman, Weimer, Weis, Hotchkiss, Kernan, Hitchcock and Sperry. |
