I am searching for information on John Allen. It is said that he and His family came from Ireland. He came to Franklin County Ga from Virginia. I Don't know if he came with family or came alone. He is connected Jeriamh Allen of Fancy Gap Virginia. John Allen was married to Temperance Manley, who's father was Mose Manley. I know their children and their children, but, know little else. Could use some help and maybe I can help someone else. This is my mothers side of the family. The other side of the family are murphy/Murphree/Murphrey, Alexanders, Whitfields,Burdett, Ellenburgs ,Butler I hope someone will be looking for the same families and we can help each other |
