The Frank and Jeanne Brickey Family Home Page

We are researching any Brickeys that come from the upstate New York and Canadian areas, especially around Tupper Lake, Saranac Lake areas. We are especially looking for any information about Asa Wesley Brickey, Wesley Brickey, Peter Vivia Brickey and a Joseph Brickey (aka Vivier). We are also looking for any Foucrault's (Fouquereau) from Canada, especially Francois and Sophie Foucrault possibly from St. Chrysostome or St. John, Quebec.

Also, we are looking for relatives of Arthur Lewis Collins or Frank Collins who were born in New York City. Arthur Collins died in 1949. Frank Collins lived in Denver Colorado and married a Ruby Hand in 1920. He died in 1960 in Denver. Arthur and Frank had a sister named Maude and also possibly an uncle named Louie with 3 girls named Virginia, Meredith, and Mary Howard.

Another family name we are seeking is Adam Schirm (born in Pittsburg, PA) who was married to Grace Selina Howard (born in PA)and gave birth to Elyse Catherine Schirm (in PA) and Dorothea Letitia Schirm (in New York City). Adam's father was John Schirm (from Wuertemburg, Germany) and mother was Mary K. Beilstein (from Hesse, Germany).

We also have a great-great grandfather whose name was William Pfeiffer and was from Germany. He fought in the Civil War in Co D 131 Regt New York Volunteers. His wife's name was Mary Louise Huether(from Germany) and they had 4 children, Wilhelmina, Margaret, William, and Genevieve. Genevieve married a William Belz and later a William Nekvapil.

On the Hewel side of the family we are looking for relatives of William August Julius Hewel, (parents August Hewel and Caroline Grote)from Germany who married Annie Meta Brummer (from Germany) in New York in 1885. They had 4 children, John Bernard, William, Harry J., and Annie Caroline. William had a brother named Gustav who was married in New York in 1889 and a sister named Caroline who was married to a Johann Luhrs in 1888.

We would love to find anyone who has any information about any of these people or other relatives and would gladly share information that we have.
