"The Barringtons of Richmond & Scotland County, NC"

I am just getting started on the Barrington family tree. My mother is the daughter of Fred & Ethel Quick Barrington. My father was adopted by Angus & Sally Prevatte at the age of nine. He was a Bolden from the Mt. Gilead, Seagrove, Ashboro area. I'm not sure of the correct spelling of Bolden. His mother's name was Dolly Bolden and later married a Freemen.
