I am researching the Bridges - Cunningham - Lunam - Veitch families who come from the East Lothian, Midlothian, Leith, and Peebles areas of Scotland. John Briggs married Jean Litster on 27 Jan 1811 at Prestonkirk, East Lothian, Scotland.They had five children, Marion, John, Jean, Jemima and Margaret Burnside. John Bridges married Elizabeth Hogg in St Cuthbert's Church, Edinburgh, Scotland in 1838. Their son Archibald married Euphemia Cunningham, daughter of Edward Barrow Cunningham. Yetts Cunningham (b.24 Feb 1782) married Catherine Hansen Barrow (b.5 Jun 1788) on 22 Oct 1807 in North Leith, Scotland. Yett's father was Alexander Cunningham, who was born in Leith, Scotland. David Lunam married Jean Sleigh on 5th June 1813 at Innerwick, East Lothian, Scotland. They had ten children. Their son David Lunam married Elizabeth Anderson on 3rd Dec 1853 at Oldhamstocks, East Lothian, Scotland. His son David married Margaret Ludgate on 12 Nov 1880 in Leith, Scotland. John Veitch married Isabella Brown on 22 Jun 1824 at Stobo, Peebles, Scotland. If anyone is researching any of the above families, I would be delighted to make contact.
