| I am researching the HOLT/HARKNESS Family. Christopher Ronald Holt(b.4/28/1864; d.5/6/1936) married Lillie May Dodson(b.11/12/1871; d.5/17/1936). Their children are Eva, Vernon, Dahlia, Dora, Floyd, Rhoda, Wona, Orville, and Othor. Othor married Isabell Harkness(my paternal grandparents). They moved from Arkansas to Baker City, Oregon sometime in the 30's. Christopher is Chactow Indian (??Family stories). My guess is the Dodson's are Cherokee, as we are registered. Don't know who Christopher's parents are. Lillie's father is Benjamin Franklin Dodson, mother unknown. On the Harkness side Isabell's parents are Cornelious Walter Harkness (b.10/17/1878; m.7/9/1899; d.3/30/1949) married Rhoda Bell Dodson (b.3/15/1880; d.1/24/1956).Cornelious's father is Samuel R. Harkness, Mother is Mary Bloodston (according to Cornelious's Death Certificate). Rhoda's father is Benjamin Franklin Dodson, mother unknown. Any information would be helpful.
