| I am researching the Brightwell family from Webster County, Preston, Ga. My husbands great-grandfather, Elijah Leonard was born in 1853 in Georgia. I believe his parents were John and Sarah (Sally) Brightwell. Elijah is listed in the 1860 census - Webster County, Georgia. Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have. I am also researching the Adam Laidlaw family from Ontario, Canada, Nova Scotia and Kelso area in Scotland.
