I am researching my family tree on my fathers side. We are decendents of John Ridd who tried to marry Lorna Doone as in the book written by R D Blackmoore. The family of West then goes back to Perry who was a Ridd prior to marriage. I am now looking for the connection from Lillian Eliza Perry who was the daughter of Mary Ridd wife of James Perry. I have no dates for the last two but know that John Ridd was born in 1795 and died on 27th July 1870. Can anyone help please?
