The information contained herein is not a complete family history, but is created from the available information. If you find errors or omissions I would appreciate being informed of the correction. I strive for accurate data but some records, memories and official data may have incorrect information. I have found census records and other information for most of the recorded information. Unfortunately, many of the records for Dinwiddie County were lost during the Civil War and it has hampered my research. The family farm was located on Tomahitton Creek on land that was condemned for the building of Camp Pickett which has helped to eliminate even more information. I continually find new facts to add and believe in sharing information with others, so feel free to contact me. |
