The Martin Brittingham Family Home Page

I am researching the BRITTINGHAM family from Sommerset and Worcester County, MD. The family name is also rooted in Accomac county, Va. The Brittingham name appears in all U.S. census reports from 1790 and beyond 1850.
From the 1840 census, I know that Isaac S. Brittingham was the head of a household and 27 when compared with the 1850 census. The 1840 census also identifies a 60-70 male living in the household which I am guessing might have been the father.

I am trying to establish who Isaac's father was. Also, Isaac was married to Ann M. What was her maiden name? Isaac S. was born around 1813. The Isaac that I am looking for had a number of children including JOSEPH THOMAS Brittingham.

I am also interested in finding the passenger list that documents the Brittingham (or Brettingham) family voyage to America.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
