| Looking for John Wilson born March 21, 1847 married to Mary Jane Philips in Missouri Knox County 1871. They had six children. Mary Jane died in 1890-1895. I can't find the exact date or the place? It is believed she died in Warsaw Ill. They lived Knox County Missouri and Hancock County Illionios in 1842-1900. John came west in 1901 with the six children to Oregon. John's parents appear to be John and Elizabeth Wilson. I need his mother's maiden name desperately. There is another John Wilson in the area but it's not him. So it is very confusing at times to be sure these are his parents. He had brothers according to 1870 censusWilliam, Grunderson, Joseph, and one sister Zerebba. I find Philips family in Knox County MO but these Wilson's seem to disappear. It's a common name so any help will be appreciated. I do believe William, Joseph, and Zerebba stayed in Missouri. And only John and Grundson came to Oregon in 1900-1901. |
