George Britten of Bath

George Britten (also known as John),according to the information given by him on the 1881 and 1891 Census, was born in Bath, Somerset, about 1840. His occupation in each Census was given as "Fishmonger", and also on the birth certificates of each of his three children. He appears to be married to Caroline Rebecca Dunkley, formerly Tye, but I have not found a marriage certificate (which ought to show me the name of his father). The address at which he lived was 72 Snows Field, Bermondsey, London. His three children Louisa Alice Caroline (born Nov 1871)Barbara Mary Jane (April 1873) and George Mathew (April 1877)were all born at 72 Snows Field. I hope someone can help me progress my research.
