Researching the Pedigree and descendants of Elijah Carroll Smith and Mary Elizabeth Hughes. Mary came to the United States with her mother in 1862 from Siver Bridge, Armaugh county, Ireland. Her and her mother settled in Cairo, Illinois. Her birthday was November 24, 1849. She married Elijah on September 22, 1867 in Cairo, Illinois. They had three sons, Edward, Charles, and Grover and one daughter, Mayme. Also researching the Pedigree and descendants of William Junius Mowery and Mary Costley. William was born on March 10, 1840 and died on July 16, 1912. Mary was born on November 26, 1850 and died on December 23, 1922. They were married in Union County, Illinois on November 22, 1866. They had four sons, William, Jacob, Charley, and Albert, and three daughters, Mary Melinda, Iota, and Ive(who died as a baby). Any information would be appreciated.
