I am researching both the BRIDGEFORD and WEST family lines:
BRIDGEFORD Family: My husband's (William L. Bridgeford) grandparents were John J. BIDGEFORD, (born: Abt 4 July 1871 in Cambridge, NY died: Abt October 1924 in Philadelphia, PA) and Mary A. ROGERS (born: 6 April 1871 in Wingdale, NY married: 18 July 1893 in ST Johns Catholic Church, White Plains, NY died: 14 February 1952 in Queens Village, NY)

I have a picture of John J. Bridgeford and know that he had a business that was located on Parrish Street in Philadelphia called J.J. Bridgeford, & Co. Manufacturers. However, this was after he divorced Mary Rogers for reasons unknown. My husband's family lost track of him and we have been unable to fill in the blanks, so far.

John J. Bridgeford was a mason and came from a family of masons/bricklayers.

I am looking into confirming that John J. Bridgeford is indeed the son of William Bridgeford (born: 1833 in Albany, NY and died: 24 Jan 1896 in the Village of Cambridge, NY). I would also like to fill in the family history of John J. Bridgeford's life story.

WEST Family: This is my father's (Paul Anthony WEST born: 6 September 1935 in Groton, CT died: 18 May 1974 in Hollywood, MD) family name. His grandparents were William Marcus West (born: October 1853 in Blackburn?, England died: 16 December 1909 in Fall River, MA) and Mary Jane BRADLEY (born: August 1856 in Blackburn?, England; married: Unknown in Fall River, MA? died: 22 February 1920 in Fall River, MA)

His parents were Stephen William WEST (born: 15 October 1896 in Fall River, MA died: 19 September 1969 in New London, CT) and Irene Louise GILLIGAN (born: 21 July 1898 in Fall River, MA died: 2 July 1964 in Groton, CT)

Both my father, his older brother Stephen and grandfather (WW II) were career members of the U.S. NAVY. So I am also interested in any information concerning their military careers.

Any information concerning either the BRIDGEFORD or WEST family would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
