| Hi, I'm new to all of this geneology stuff, an boy is it involved. I am doing research for several family names. My maiden name was Wheeler. This part of the family is mainly in the South, Florida, Alabama. The Hawthorne family is from that part of the country also. The Briggs and Stevenson families are from my married name. They are mostly Mormon, and the Briggs can be traced back to 1278. My brother in-law has done quite a bit of work on that side. The Stevenson family are related to the author Robert Stevenson, and also Teddy Rosevelt. I'm really interested in finding out about my father's father, Our family doesn't seem to know much about him. Only his mother's maiden name. "Annie Elisa Ezell" His name was Sam McBride Wheeler, Born Dec. 11, 1903 in Milton, Fl. He married Tensie Hawthorne on Feb. 20, 1926.
