| I am researching the Brightman family as you know it's on the top of this page isn't it. the oragins of my family seems to be Bedfordshire England and reaches into Rhode Island, Mass and finaly into Hants Co. Nova Scotia Canada. The origional Brightman settler in Hants Co. was one of the origional grantees of the Newport Township. The Brightman family has many links to other families in the Hants Co. area just come on in and take a look there may be a branch of your family in here that you never know about. Also I have a LOT of info on other Newport Township families along with other families of the area so if you need help please ask I know it wont hurt!!!
