The Bridgford, Bridgeford Family Home Page

I am researching my family tree and have a lot of informationbut still need to find some missing links and dates. Am mainly
interested in the family name of "BRIDGFORD or BRIDGEFORD".
I have traced my tree back to 1744 in Virginia but am stumped past that point. Could of came from England or Scotland, but haven't been able to trace it any farther as of yet.
The most common first names for the men seem to be William, John, Thomas, Charles and Walter. For the women Elizabeth, Anna, Sarah, and Agnes.
The areas that seem to be my section of the family started in
Virginia 1700's; Kentucky early 1800's; Butler,OHIO 1830-1850's;
Indiana 1860-present; also some went to Illinois then to California.
I am interested in any and all information regarding Bridgford's. Other names of interest, Basset's, Wakeland's,
Olsen's (Kasper Engwald Olsen from Minnesota, then Seattle WA),
