Researching the Brott surname from Oregon (1943 to present), Mt. Grove, Missouri (1901 to 1943, and the present), Nebraska (1880's to 1909),Iowa (1860's to 1880's),Illinois (1850's to 1880's), Ohio (1840's), and New York (earlier).
I'm currently stuck on finding a relationship between John Andrew Brott born 1830 New York and Martin Brott of Knox County, Illinois (born 1804 New York).Have the right area and family, just need the proof of who was related to who.
