Charlie's cousin by his father's first marriage. They all connect to Josiah Marion McClain born 1838. Josiah was first married to Julia America King in Georgia who bore him several children - Josiah served in the Civil War, injured at the Battle of Franklin TN and apparently sent back to Alabama to recover but obviously forgot about his family and remarried. Julia filed for divorce for dessertion in 1872 and tried to apply into the Cherokee Nation Rolls. His second wife Elizabeth filed for a Widows Pension in 1897.
