My name is Dale Brose, originally from the Buffalo, New York area. During the early to mid 1800's my Brose ancestors lived in the town of Bobersberg, Kreis Crossen an der Oder, Brandenburg, Prussia (now Bobrowice, Poland). In 1870 the paternal line of my Brose family immigrated to Buffalo, New York. The maternal line of my Brose family relocated to other German towns within Brandenburg such as Kotsemke (Buschweide), Altranft, Schenkendorf, Mittenwalde & Zeuthen prior to my grandmother immigrating to America in 1925. My mother's paternal ancestors immigrated from the village of Tworyczow, Poland which is approximately 130 miles southeast of Warsaw. My mother's maternal Ostrowski family immigrated from the village of Milocin, Poland which is approximately 155 miles south-southeast of Warsaw outside the city of Rzeszow.
