"Dear Sweet Vera,
I had forgotten when your birthday was.
I tryed to press you one of my Roses to send you but it fell apart. So I am sending the Petals and a little Gardenia.
I will be sending them some more little cards someday. Tell Bob I would like to see him and all of you.
Vera don't laugh at this card its my first oil painting. Well the blue isn't oil. Well so long sweet hearts Kiss the babys for me. Love Grandma Lucy and Bob.
