Pa..

ENRY BROWN:
Buried in Bethel Evangelical Cemetery. Henry Brown age 30 is listed on Page 400 of the 1850 census records. His wife is listed as Elizabeth age 30 with the following children, John, Hiram, Samuel, Henry Horace, Catharine, Mary, Ellen, Sara and Tillie. His occupation is listed as a laborer and his worth at 400. His estate was settled in 1894 after his wife passed away and there was not enough personal property to settle the debts. John and Hiram were the administrators of the estate. A sale was held on December 30, 1893 at 10:00 O clock. All information can be found in the Recorder of Deeds in Reading Pa. The two parcels of real estate were sold to John Kutz for $1031.00

LIZABETH GARMAN:
Buried in Bethel Evangelical cemetery. There is a good bit of history on the Garman family at the Tri county Heritage Society in Morgantown. Pa. Leonard Garman, her brother served in the Civil War and is buried in the Bethel Evangelical cemetery. He served in Company F the 42 Regiment and entered service 7/6/1863 and was discharged 8/12/1863. She had five other brothers, Adam, Jacob, John, George and Peter, and three sisters, Mary, Barbara and Catharine.

Catharine is buried in the Brown lot in Allunbach cemetery in an unmarked grave. She is listed as Kate and died on Sept. 14, 1927 and was 84 years old.
