Notes for Harry Denton Brown, Sr: Harry and Loretta moved to Baltimore after getting married seeking employment. After moving back to Reading he drove a delivery truck for Abotts dairies for several years. He had a confectionery store at Front and Oley. He then moved to 2606 Kutztown road and worked for Lester in the candy factory. He was very active in the Riverside Club and the Moose Lodge in Reading. He worked for Dick Brothers making brass castings for a time in Reading. He made candy in his basement on the Kutztown road for several years. He spent his last years living with his daughter Shirley in Merchantville, N.J. He died of cancer in Camden N.J. His body was cremated and his ashes lie in the Gesthemeny cemetery in Laureldale, Pa in Loretta's grave.
