BLANCHE LILLIAN¹⁴ ILLINGWORTH (JOSHUA¹³, CAIN COCKCROFT¹², THOMAS¹¹, JOHN¹⁰, WILLIAM⁹, JOHN⁸, ROBERT⁷, JAMES⁶, JAMES⁵, THOMAS⁴, RALPH³, RICHARD², RICHARD¹) was born 1871 in Ripon, York, England, and died 1907 in Knaresborough, York, England. She married GEORGE HENRY HALL 1891 in Middlesborough, son of 'CHEESY' HALL.

BERNARD HALL, b. May 25, 1895, Sculcoates, Hull; d. April 9, 1917, Vimy Ridge, France.

Notes for BERNARD HALL:
Bernard was born 23rd. May 1895, at 1 Olive Grove, Somerset St. Newington, Hull. As a teenager he emigrated to Canada, where he worked on a fruit farm in Toronto, Ontario. My grandma Mona Winstanley, Bernards elder sister, told me his sweetheart was the daughter of his employer and that her name was Dorothy Perkins. Bernard taught Dorothy semaphore and they used to signal to each other from their bedroom windows.
At some point yet to be discovered Bernard joined a Canadian Regiment and was sent to Europe during the Great War (1914-1918), he was killed on the first day of the storming of Vimy Ridge.

14. RONALD¹⁴ ILLINGWORTH (RALPH¹³, HEBER¹², THOMAS¹¹, JOHN¹⁰, WILLIAM⁹, JOHN⁸, ROBERT⁷, JAMES⁶, JAMES⁵, THOMAS⁴, RALPH³, RICHARD², RICHARD¹) was born 1908, and died 2001. He married MARJORIE SMITH.

Children of RONALD ILLINGWORTH and MARJORIE SMITH are:

	i.		DIANA LESLEY¹⁵ ILLINGWORTH, b. 1934.
	ii.		CAROLINE DEIDRE ILLINGWORTH, b. 1939.
	iii.		HUGH ILLINGWORTH, b. 1944; m. PATRICIA HINCHLIFFE.
