The first ancestor I know about is Matthew Brown from Kilmarnock, Scotland who married a Mary McGill in the early 1800's. Had a son John Brown born Kilmarnock in 1820. Will somebody out on the Highway have pity on people by the name of Brown searching ancestory in Scotland. PLEASE! Alice's ancestor John Morrison emigrated from Airdre, Scotland to Killyleigh, Northern Ireland in 1777. Married Alice Keilty a French Governess at Killyleigh Castle. What a coincidence Airdre is abt. 20 miles from Kilmarnock. As at 20/9/98 I've listed around 500 relations on Alice & my family tree. Names we are researching are mainly Scots, Irish, Welsh, Portuguese, English and Rajput (Indian). Surnames are:- Brown, Morrison, McCausland, Young, Whelan, Gleeson, Flynn, Whitla, Robinson, McClintock, Hunter, McGill, Bird, Marquez, Allinson, Barry, Boyle, Crook, Dench, Furey, Hamilton, McLaughlin, Mercer & heaps more!
