Carol and Keith Windsor of England visit Montreal in April 2000 and meet Ptack and Friedman cousins.
Carol is the grand-daughter of Joe Winer, great-grand-daughter of Itche Ivrasky and Dobbie Winer.
Carol's father Jack Winer died in World War II at the battle of Dunkirk and her mother died of cancer shortly thereafter. She was raised by her maternal grand-parents.
Becoming aquainted with so many cousins on her father's side has been a most exciting and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Hymie and Dave Friedman purchased the building between St Lawrence and Notre Dame to run their Cash Register business until it was expropriated by the City of Montreal in order to build today's Court House in Old Montreal. The brothers spent many years on that site. It is interesting to note that seven of their grandchildren, became lawyers and have had many occasions to frequent that site in the course of their business.
This building was always available to the cousins for their business ventures.

Mitchell Brownstein found him in 1992 by looking in the London phone book under Winer.
