| My name is Robin Brown - maiden name is Ferstle. I am in the process of researching my family tree. The original spelling of the name is FERSTL, and there were many variations of the spelling over the years due to poor english on the part of my ancestors. The Ferstl Family (the one that I have traced back to) came to the USA from Germany in 1852 and settled in the area that I live in now - Rockwood/Flat Rock, Michigan. There is alot of Ferstl/Ferstle history in this area. Other names connected to my search are: LaFeve,VanWasshenova, and Streicher. |
