Wilfongs & Layfields of West Virginia

Well, this is an on~going project that I am able to pick up, and unfortunately, life happens, and my family tree takes a back seat. When my husband started his family tree it intrigued me, so I started on my own family tree. That was roughly 3 years ago, and I'm still slowly trudging along with my tree. But when I am done filling in the past (and I will get done the past before my first grandchild!! lol) I will be filling in the present and future, which I greatly look forward to! My children can continue the tree and fill in greater details about their children and grandchildren, such as occupations and memorable moments, that I find myself often wondering about my grandparents, great~grandparents, and so on. It gives me such a warm feeling knowing that my childrens great~grandchildren will be able to look back and know where they came from, and what moments might have changed our/their history, from both their mommy and daddy's side.
