| I am searching for the descendants of HALMAGH JOHN VAN WAGONER (b. 21 Nov.1788 in Pompton, Passaic Co., NJ; m. 22 Dec. 1810 in Horseneck, Bergen Co., NJ) and MARY (POLLY) VAN HOUTEN-VAN WAGONER (b. 24 Feb. 1793 in Wanaque, Passaic Co., NJ). They joined the Mormon Church in New Jersey thanks to the missionary work of Parley P. Pratt and then with the Saints moved Westward toward Utah. Sadly enough they never made it. They died at Winter Quarter during the Winter of 1847 in Florence, Douglas Co., NE. One of their children, my 2nd great-grandmother, was HARRIET ANN VAN WAGONER who married HENRY NEBEKER, SR. I am also researching FOX (TN>MO>AR>TX>OK), TOLLISON (TN>OK), LATEY (England>NE>UT>CA), HOWELL, MOTT, ALLISON, BUSSELL, EPPLE, BERRY, HORN, and BIGGS.
