Just beginning electronic family search. However, my aunt (sister on dad's side) performed much research prior to her death. We have lots of family info on paper from that research. Most of it centers around extensions of the family tree to William Divine Claybourne from Jefferson County, Illinois. There was some additional research from that family extending to William Claybourne of the Lower Chesapeake, Virginia fame, part of the Virginia Company Colony, having arrived in about 1605 to 1608. The line from William of Virginia to William of Illinois runs thin in Tennessee. This electronic search is an attempt to take that line up and fill it in.
