Hello! My family research stems from everywhere from Kansas to England to Canada to Germany.

The major line, the BROWNS, begin with Robert BROWN and Frances TIPLADY. They migrated to Jackson Co., IA from Yorkshire, England in the late 1840's with their 9 children. Their son Charles BROWN, moved on to Anderson Co., KS after Robert died in 1850. After the civil war, on 10 Aug 1865, he married Mary Isabela HINDE. From there it continues on through Kansas to present day.

That is just my BROWN branch of the family. The surnames I am researching are:

ARY, BALDWIN, BROWN, DOLL/DULL, FOWLER, FURLOW, FRISBEY, HINDE, HUFFMAN, HULL, IDE, KRUGER, PETERMAN, RAMSEY, STARR, SHUTTLEWORTH, TIPLADY, TOOTHAKER.
