Surnames I am currently searching include: STRANGE (MO,KY,VA) especially for a William Strange who simply appeared and married Chloe Cornwell in Fauquier Co.(or thereabouts) in the mid to late 1700's. This family emigrated to Garrard County, KY, and some of their descendants later went on to Platte and Clay Counties in Missouri. We have LDS relatives from one family that went from MO on to Utah with the Mormon migration; I am also looking for evidence that ties ROBERT COLEMAN (a member of Francis Marion's ("The Swamp Fox")company with his family of origin in either North Carolina or northern South Carolina in Revolutionary times. Both of these families may be listed on Volumes of the WFT I do not have. Any help that can be offered will be appreciated.
