Daniel Lyon (perhaps he whom the "Lyon Memorial" makes a son of Simeon) and his wife Hannah were original members, 1830, of the Salem M. E. Church, near Gredericktown, Ohio. Buried in Salem cemetery are the Rev. Epharaim Lyon (died April 08, 1846, Age 68 yrs.), his wife Eunice (died January 24 1881, Age 97yrs. 5 mos. 12 days), Ruth Lyon (1827-1908), Abraham Lyon (1816-1890), and Byram Lyon died 1888.
