She married GEORGE L. HUTCHINSON January 07, 1867 in Unionville, Whiteside County, Illinois USA. He was born December 19, 1844 in Unionville, Whiteside County Illinois USA, and died June 05, 1904 in Monrovia, California USA.

YLVIA ANN YOUNG:
Our Young Family in America, Record 114, Sylvia Ann Young born, December 12 1845, in the village of Unionville, Union Grove Township, Whiteside County, Illinois, died at Monrovia, California, November 11 1944, one month before her 99th birthday. This compilation is deeply indebted to Sylvia for much early family history. It was she who first wrote the writer that her sister, Tryphena, visited their relatives in Ohio and brought back to Illinois an old family Bible that "was printed in the days when the f's and the s's looked alike," and in which, amongst other things, it was written that "Morgan Young arrived in America from the north of Scotland, October 11 1722 at the age of nine years." The old bible has been lost but the notation was incorported in the typewritten "Genealogy of the Daniel B. Young Family," compiled from their family records by children of D.B. Young in 1899. Sylvia married, Jan 7 1867, at Unionville, Illinois, George L. Hutchinson. They lived, in 1877, in Colorado and from there moved to California. Mr. Hutchinson, born, August 11 1867, at Wheatlan center, Clinton County, Iowa, died, December 08 1894, at Monrovia. He married in November 1890 Christian Lee who died in 1902. No children.

177. SUSAN L.6 JACKSON (CHARITY ANN5 YOUNG, JACOB4, JOHN3, MORGAN2, YOUNG1) was born February 13, 1828 in near Fredericktown, Ohio USA. She married EDWARD VENNUM February 20, 1845, son of JOHN VENNUM and PHEBE JACKSON. He was born September 16, 1818 in near Mt. Vernon, Ohio USA.

USAN L. JACKSON:
Our Young Family in America, Record 115, Susan L. Jackson born, Feb. 13 1828, near Fredericktown, Ohio was taken in 1838 by her parents to Whiteside County, Illinois where there was a gathering of the Jackson and Young clans, and where she married, Feb. 20 1845, John Vennum, born September 16 1818, near Mt. Vernon, Ohio, son of Phebe (Jackson) Lewis Vennum, sister of Susan grandfather Jackson. Charity Ann (Young) Jackson, mother of Susan, was both sister and sister-in-law of Daniel B. Young. John Vennum was one of three who laid out Unionville, Illinois in 1841.
      Phebe Jackson Lewis Vennum, born, June 23 1874, in Morris County, New Jersey, died at the age of 104 yrs. 11 mos and 26 days in the home of her son Edward in Whiteside county, Illinois. She was the daughter of Major Benjamin and Abigail Mitchell Jackson, residents of Rockaway, New Jersey. She married first, Feb. 25 1802, Isaac Lewis, died between 1805 and 1811, son of Isaac (Will dated Jan. 26 1812, Morristown, New Jersey) and Sarah Jackson, and grandson of Edward and Sarah (Morris) Lewis (Rec 14). They had two sons: James L. Lewis, born Jan. 25 1803, and Benjamin Jackson Lewis, born July 04 1805, in New Jersey, died March 27 1891, at Detroit, Mich. Her husband having died, Phebe, in company with her parents in 1814, moved to Knox County, Ohio where in 1817 she married for her second husband John Vennum, of Washington County, PA. He died, Feb 12 1858, age 72 yrs. Mrs. Vennum, after the death of John, lived with her son Edward and his family (Miss. Anna B. Johnson, Chicago, Illinois). Edward and Susan Vennum had seven children (Miss. Ann Potter, Morristown, Illinois).

      i. Albert B., born December 12 1845, married November 28 1882, Laura Schaub.
ii. Phebe A., born Jan. 25 1848, married April 10 1866, P.S. Banister.
iii. Andrew J., born December 11 1849, married October 11 1881, Rhoda Callentine, died Jan. 23 1874. One child known: Susan Vennum, married Joseph R. Jahraus, and lived at Laguna Beach, California. She die Feb. 18, 1931.
iv. Columbus C., born October 31 1851, married July 01 1880, Florence Twining. He died about 1940. Four children: Ethel V., married ________ Craig, and lives in Phoenix AZ: Stella married W.V. Steutville, and lives in South Sioux City, Nebr.; Fern married P.J. Roelfsema and lives in Piedmont, California; and Ruby Vennum married J.T. Latimer and lives in Glendale, California.
v. Edwin P., born October 26 1853, married Feb. 12 1880, Linder Reemer.
vi. Abbie T., born July 03 1856, died December 18 1873.
vii. John G., born December 06 1864.

178. SILAS MITCHELL6 JACKSON (CHARITY ANN5 YOUNG, JACOB4, JOHN3, MORGAN2, YOUNG1) was born October 22, 1837 in Mount Vernon, Ohio USA, and died June 27, 1927 in Colorado. He married RACHEL MORIAH BROWN June 17, 1879 in Norborne, Missouri USA, daughter of MANTHANO BROWN and SARAH HAMILTON.

ILAS MITCHELL JACKSON:
OUR YOUNG FAMILY IN AMERICA, Record 116, Silas Mitchell Jackson born, October 23 1837, near Mt. Vernon, Ohio, died, June 27 1927, in Colorado. He was a babe in arms when his parents moved to Whiteside County, Illinois. His middle name takes us back to Rockaway, New Jersey where the Jacksons, Mitchells and Youngs were intimate neighbors. The paternal grandparents of Silas were Ziba and Phebe (Lyon) Jackson. Phebe Lyon was the daughter of Captain Abraham and Phebe (Bobbert) Lyon. (Mrs. Ella B. Spooner, Marguette, Mich.). Captain Lyon was a descendant of the Lyons of Glamis Castle, Scotland, whence came Lady Elizabeth Bowers-Lyon, the present Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain. See Record #6. Silas married, June 17 1879, at Norborne, Missouri, Rachel Moriah Brown, daughtr of Manthano and Sarah Lawrence (Hamilton) Brown. Sarah was the third wife of Manthano. Silas and Rachel Brown had two children. ("The Brown Family History, " Mrs. Ella B Spooner, 1929).

      i. Ella Brown, b. December 3 1880, Denver Colorado, married, June 26 1902, at Salida, Colorado, Charles C. Spooner, in 1943, professor in the Mathematical Department, North State College, Marquette, Mich. No children.

ii. Lawrence Louise, born February 28 1890, Salida Colorado, married October 13 1911, Everett H. Fisher, at Canon City Colorado where the family is living. Two children: Lawrence Everett, born July 19, 1912, and Rachel Ada Fisher, born May 26 1917.

She married DANIEL STURBLE, son of JOHN STURBLE and MARY HADLEY. He was born 1828 in Sussex County, New Jersy USA, and died September 18, 1912.

OUR YOUNG FAMILY IN AMERICA, Record # 117 Margart Shur Young born, January 26 1835, at Fredericktown, Ohio, died September 22 1892, age 57 years, 7 months and was buried in Forest Cemetery, Fredericktown (Gravstone rec.). She married, Septemb 4 1855, at Fredericktown, Daniel Struble (born 1828 in Sussex County, New Jersey, died September 18 1912, age 83 years 11 months 18 days at Fredericktown. Mr. Struble was brought to Ohio by his parents , John D. and Mary (Hadley) Struble whose other children were: Rebecca, Headley, Daniel and Wm. J., born in New Jeersey, and John S. Charles S., Oscar, David W., and Edwin Dallas Struble, born near Fredericktown, Ohio. John D. Struble engaged in different enterprises and was a successful businessman. His son Daniel continued the business and added banking to his activities. Daniel and Margaret had two children (Mrs. W. C. Macfadden, Fargo, N.D.).

      i. Mary Blanche, born March 3 1857, Fredericktown, died there, October 9 1894. She married November 6 1880, Frank R. Moore. No children.

      ii. Ralph Young, died May 13 1929, age 52 years t months 10 days, and was buried at Fredericktown, Ohio. He married Helen Wells who, after the death of Ralph, married second, Dale Workman. Mrs. Workman died, April 8 1947, at Fredericktown. Ralph and Helen Young had two children: Margaret, born 1910, died March 6 1947, at Mt. Vernon, Ohio. She married first, Ralph Fox, and second, Dr. W. Kennett Claypool, a Chiropodist, of Mt. Vernon; and Mary Young, married first Don Henry, and second, Harold W. Anderson. Mrs. Anderson lives in Fredericktown and has two children: David S. Henry and Helen Wells Anderson.
