| I am researching the BRUECKER family. Petrus Bruekers died November 21, 1802 in Griethausen, Rheinland, Germany, but I don't know when and where he was born. He married Wilhelmina FLINTEROP on May 6, 1787 in Warbayen, Cleve, Rheinland, Germany and they had ten children. He had a grandson by the name of Berhard BRUECKER born Oct. 31, 1830 in Griethausen, Cleve, Dusseldorf, Germany. He was the only child (known) of Gerardus BRUECKERS to come over from Germany . I am looking for the names of the other children of Gerardus.Bernhard Bruecker settled in Sheboygan Wisconsin where he owned a Hotel/Saloon for many years. He later sold the business and moved up to Dundas, Town of Woodville, Calumet county, Wisconsin. A son, Henry Bruecker, after marriage settled in Milwaukee, Milwaukee county, Wisconsin.The BRUECKER spelling varies: Brueckers, Bruekers, Bruckers, Brucker, Bricker (rare), etc....Other names of interest: Biese, Huss, Flintrop, Haen, Holzschuh, Brochtrup, Breoren, Vandenberg, Schlickbernd, TrimbergerFeel free to E-mail me if you have ran across the Bruecker name or if I might be of any help to you. |
