| Jacob BRYAN born 1783 in Robeson Co. near the town of Lumberton, NC. died 1852 in Wabash CO, Indiana. Married in Robeson Co., N.C. in 1805 to Nancy FREEMAN born 1791. Jacob BRYAN lived in what was then "The BurntIslands" near Lumberton now called Wisehearts. He lived next to the Benjaman Freeman Plantation by the Great Swamp. Isaac Bryan is thought to be his father. A Thomas Bryan, Joseph Bryan, James Bryan are thought to be brothers. These Bryan's lived in Robeson county.
