Find Family

In my family, I seem to be the one who is interested in looking into our family history and background. It makes history come alive to know that we have an ancestor who served in the Navy in WWI (Chauncey Mitchell DePew Jaques) or a great-uncle who was shot down over the Scharhorn Islands off the coast of Germany during WWII (Chester D. Jaques)and I enjoy getting to know these people, even if only on paper. We're a very far-flung bunch, so reunions will be confined to the Internet or email, but we welcome you into our family.

Thus far in my research, I've come to a halt with respect to a few family members: anyone from my paternal grandfather's family (Charles A. Lovel, parents James J. Lovel and Elizabeth Leadbetter) and my maternal grandfather's family (Franklin Theodore Zirwes, parents John Howard Zirwes and Mary Agnes Kane). If anyone has information regarding these lines, please contact me. Similarly, if I have information that you would find helpful in your family history research, I would be glad to share it with you.
