I am the great-grandaughter of Andrew H. Galloway and Flora Jane Galloway,granddaughter of Oliver Hollis Bryant and Eva Dell Galloway Bryant and daughter of Hubert M. Bryant and Nancy Metts Bryant of Supply, NC.
I have very limited information and am trying to locate any additional information about my great-grandfather Andrew Henry Galloway of Supply, North Carolina. He was born in 1839 and migrated to the Supply area from Lumberton or Bolton, NC. He lived in the Supply, North Carolina area, (Brunswick County)near the Hwy #211 area near Bolton, NC. He farmed a large farm in the Supply area around 1200 acres and sold crops and livestock for a living. He had a family of 19 children.
First wife was Amanda Lou Galloway. Ten children were born to this union. Children were: Lizzie Galloway born November 11, 1874, Rebecca Galloway April 8, 1877-?, James Galloway May 11, 1880-?, Coznelus Galloway June 22, 1882-?, Pattie Galloway June 22, 1884-?, Hattie Galloway December 27, 1885-?, Bessie Galloway
November 21, 1889-?, Sylvester Galloway April 17, 1892-?, Andrew Galloway January 12, 1895-?, and Maceo Galloway April 4, 1897-?.
His first wife died at an early age and he remarried again.
Second Wife was Flora Jane Galloway, nine children were born to this union. Children were: Mathera Galloway 1898-?, Jack Galloway May 4, 1899-?, Nathaniel Galloway Oct. 9, 1901-?, Eva Dell Galloway June 29, 1904-Resides in Supply, NC today, Mammie Galloway, October 20, 1906- resides in Supply NC today, David T. Galloway December 18, 1908-1989 (resided in Wilmington, NC., Handsome L. Galloway (Birthdate unknown), Jim Galloway (birthdate unknown) and Scipio Galloway (died as a child)
Please share any information that you may have. Our family is currently working on a family book and we are planning a family reunion for this year. Andrew H. Galloway and spouses may have Indian relatives from the Lumberton, NC and Bolton, NC areas. Please let us know. We would love to meet relatives that we have never met and those we have lost contact with over the years.
We are also trying to find Andrew H. Galloway's brothers and sisters and who his parents were.
