I am the 6th Generation,Direct Decendant of {John}/Mary Knicely and Elisabeth Mays Dean,who was born in Greene,County Virginia.My Mother Zora Florence Dean Bryant~Daughter of Rueben Milton,and Virginia Dean,of Dean Mt.Shenandoah National Park,Va.I have with the help of my Mother her Brother and sisters and many new cousins, been doing research on the======== Deane De Dedane Dean,Dane,Deen,Bryant,Briant,Briand,Bryan,O'Bryant,O"Brant,Thomas,Thompson,Gladwell,Balser,Trayer,Balsley,Bradley, Dehn,Burd,Bird,Mayse,Gray,Breeden,Pennock,Wyatt,Wimer ======== Meadows,Hensley,Vierbuchen,Blocker.=========== Lam,Lamb,Eppard,Epperd,Shifflett,Shiflett,Knight, Knighting,Knighten Mays,Bosserman,Coleman,Harness,Monger,Lyons,Fanning,Thomas, Meeks,Meakes,Gadd,Kelly,Shelly,Kyger,Waddell,Haslam,Haslett Woodall,Cason,Watkins,Smith,Briant,Wagner,Sheriff,Taylor,Murray,and many more for over twenty years.And still searching.I still have much more to add to our family tree.I always check,and .recheck and do the best I can,to make sure dates,states and Counties,and surnames are as accurate as I can.
Thanks to all my cousins,and two that really helped me with the dates,L.Fanning of Alabama who gave me a great deal of information on the Monger/Dean,Lyon connection/~
P.Fogle who lives in Md~helped me so much with alot of dates,and History,she and I met in Fredericksburg,Va.after many E=Mails and Phone calls.She also Introduced me to the Children of Homer Milton Dean that I was not even aware of,his Son Lester Milton Smith of Texas,and his family have shared Pictures of our past,on our seperate journey's through life.I feel very close to Les and his family,And believe me,just to talk to this man you know with his humor,and memories of his early childhood,he is Family.He has shared so much with me,I feel more like a Brother.He is just a wonderful person.I also just received information from cousin Kathy in AZ.Whom I have just met and she has much Information on the Bryant/Trayer/Sheriff/Taylor Connection,her Great-G-Father Jeese Bryant was my Father's Brother.
Also I would like to thank,Valerie Burd for her excelent help on The Elizabsth(Betsy)Mays=[Mayse]project.Nelson,County.There may be a connection between this Mayse/and The Mays that was married to John Dean/Elizabeth Mays=Greene County.
