Arrived about 1635 from London where he is thought to have been a member of the Royal Horse Guard. He was an original proprietor of Stratford, Ct. in 1639 where he was made Sargeant of the trainband. Bought land in Southhold, LI and married in 1645 to Anna Wines of Southhold as his second wife.

No will found but inventory of Stratford estate taken 1/16/1650.

Accompanied by sons John, ISAAC, and Caleb, and a daughter to Stratford in 1639.
