Searching for any information on the Asplet family of Jersey, Channel Islands. I am descended from Capt. Joshua Asplet of Jersey and his wife Mary Ann Leach. I have only that she was from Cambridge, England. Also interested in Wrights, Ellisons and Fawcetts of this line from this area of England. My mother's family includes the names of Schoolcraft, Lossing, Kee and Ross. We are related to Henry Rowe Schoolcraft through his younger brother Lawrence, murdered in Michigan in the 1800s. The other families center in Michigan and Ontario, Canada.
My husband is descended from William Lafayette Bryant, married to Mary Etta Bryant, of Union County, Mississippi. His family also contains Smiths and Fords.
I will answer all contacts, written or email.
