Burbon Hilliard Richardson, Sr. & Alie Ann Gill Family Tree

My research began 1993 when I realized most of our intermediate family heritage was slowly vanishing. Before my Aunt passed away, she gave me valuable family history gathered from my Grandmother. In return, I promised to organize and document our family history.

My Grandfather, Burbon Hilliard Richardson, Sr. was born October 3, 1875 in Franklin County, North Carolina. He was the son of Hilliard M. Richardson and Martha Ann Griffin both of Franklin County, North Carolina. October 7, 1903 Burbon married Alie Ann Gill from Wake County, North Carolina. She was born November 12, 1883 and died December 27, 1957 in Wake County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Sylvanious Gill and Virginia Strickland.

These few known facts encouraged me to research more data. Before I realized it, our family tree consists of over 400 names. It is my goal to obtain valid research information in memory of the Burbon Hilliard Richardson family.

I hope this information can be of use to Richardson decendants that ask, "Who Am I? and Where did I come from?". In advance, any additional information is greatly appreciated.

  Burbon Hilliard Richardson served in Company B, 3rd Regiment, Artillery in the US Army from August 17, 1896 - February 27, 1899. I have requested military pension and service records from NARA to verify these dates. If anyone has information concerning service in the US Army during this era, I would greatly appreciate feed-back. Thanks, in advance!!
