| I am researching my grandfather William Edgar Dixon. He and my grandmother, Johanna McBride were married between 1878-1888 in Florence or Pioneer, Missiouri. Three children were born from this marriage, two daughters and a son. The oldest daughter was Minnie. She born in 1888 in Pioneer, Missiouri. Gladys Maria was born in 1900 in Pierce City, Missiouri, and William Edgar was born in 1898 in Pioneer, Missiouri. These children never knew their dad as they were brought to Texas with their mother and grandparents William and Margaret McBride. Later Johanna went back to Missiouri and she and William were divorced. These children are all deceased now. Gladys Marie was my mother.
