The Ancestors of Ingrid, Jens og Olav Maktabi

This page is dedicated to our children. Ingrid Rafah Toresdatter, Jens Rami Toreson og Olav Reza Toreson. Their last name is MAKTABI. We are in the beginning of a process to find new members of our families and to organize the information that we alredy have.

One part of our family is mostly from Norway, maybe some relatives in U.S.A. We have found a line back to year 1637 ( Botve Larsen and Mari Mortensdatter). Central names and places are: Havsjømoen (place), Fjellbu, Larsen, Bergersen (names) in Norway.

The other part are from Libanon, Iran, Nigeria. Central name are: Maktabi (from Isfahan in Iran and Damascus in Syria)og Mansour (from Libanon, Nigeria or all the way back to Egypt?)

We wish to share with you our results, but the information are at all time under revision and are not verified bye others than us. We hope that this online publication will bring the data to a higher level of verification, with help from our relatives.
