My BURROUGHS-ELLIS Genealogy Home Page

My grandparents were Harry White BURROUGHS and Ada Mary ELLIS, who were united in marriage in Chamberlain, North Dakota.

The BURROUGHS ancestors line was from John BURROUGHS of Enfield, MA/CT, 1651-1693, and Hannah, 1658. The maternal ancestors were DICKINSON, WHITE and IRISH and DENISON(Capt Geo & Wm. Denison, CT)

The ELLIS ancestors line was from Thomas Chauncey ELLIS of Keene, NH and Diana CROSSFIELD. The maternal ancestors were EVELETH, LYNCH and NEALON (KNEELAND-NEILAND).

My wish is to share my genealogy with all of my family and try to find some "lost" cousins who need to be "found". Any and all of the help, correspondence, or corrections will be appreciated.

My grandparents left us with a wonderful amount of information and photographs. We know that some of the information is not documented, and just what they have been given or told by their ancestors. Unfortunately, we all have photos that are unidentified. I have many that I have included, in hopes that some of you might be able to recognize them, and give them names.
