1. MICHAEL¹ LYNCH ¹ was born Abt 1790 in Kilrush, Co Clare, IRE ², and died in Carrowfree, Kilrush Parish, Co Clare, IRE. He married MATILDA "MAGGIE" PURTILL ³. She was born Abt 1795 in Kilrush, Co Clare, IRE, and died in Carrowfree, Kilrush Parish, Co Clare, IRE.

Notes for MICHAEL LYNCH:
*Clare Heritage Center Records, County Clare, IRELAND: Records did not start until 1827, in Kilrush. The Michael LYNCH family was not found in the civil registration records, which did not start until 1864. It is believed that most of them had immigrated by then. County Clare was hit very hard by The Great Famine. Whole families diappeared at this time, either immigration to the US, Australia, Canada, or died.
Also, there was a huge outbreak of Cholera epidemic there in 1832, which might be why some records are not there for some. Per Sally LYNCH/O'Meara.

*Sally O'Meara-knew her mother spoke of two LYNCH cousins in Minneapolis, MN. They were Mariah and Ellen. She said they never married. Mariah was principal of the Willard School in Minneapolis, MN.
She found them, learned their father was Patrick LYNCH, son of Michael.

*Per Sally O'Meara: her ancestor Sally LYNCH (sister to Mary) married Michael McGRATH (promounced McGRAW) I find in the Winona, MN, St. Mary's Cemetery, a list of McGrath's; they are possibly related
